Love Letters to the World is a celebratory media platform that shines light on the many good things happening around the globe. The San Francisco Dance Film Festival returns from November 7 through November 9, featuring an expansive celebration of dance on screen. This year’s festival features 18 curated programs that spotlight the power of movement in all its forms, from deeply personal documentaries and narrative shorts to boundary-pushing screendance, live performance captures, and vibrant music videos.

In celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the United States, San Francisco Contemporary Music Players presents "American Reflections," a season devoted entirely to music by American composers. We've curated a season that explores the evolution of American music over the past century, particularly the past 25 years, and how this evolution mirrors shifts in creativity throughout the nation.
The Breakup Variety Hour is Ariana and the Rose’s concept album and one-woman show—a glitter-soaked, pop-powered journey through the six steps of getting over heartbreak. Blending live music, comedy, and immersive storytelling, the show transforms heartache into a night of cathartic celebration, complete with disco ball therapy and sing-your-heart-out anthems.
Diana Gameros presents Volver a la Luz, her new album made in collaboration with Women's Audio Mission and the Gerbode Grant. Through songs of loss, longing, hope, and joy, joined by brass, strings, percussion, and a community choir, she invites audiences to reflect, celebrate, and return to the light together.

For 39 years, Brava has worked to amplify the voices of the subaltern; the overlooked and silenced. We commit to carrying this work forward and to support our community throughout this dangerous time.
We have so much GRATITUDE for all of the incredible artists (performers, teachers, technicians, designers, and creators) who have graced our stages and filled Brava Theater Center with energy and excitement!
With more resources going to pay bills, Brava needs to raise $50,000 over the summer to continue providing the highest quality of inspirational performances, support for the Artists, free and low-cost Youth Programs, and subsidies for the Community to host events at Brava.
On the morning of June 9th, 2023– Brava had the honor of being presented with local, state, and national honors, and the Leadership Peacemaker Award from Community Boards, a non-profit conflict resolution and restorative justice center.
