November’s online salon features Cheryl “Cici” Vazquez, host of "The Rotten Girls Guide to Sex(ual Tropes)", a podcast that dissects human sexuality from the perspective of women/former women with autism. She has lived overseas for nearly a decade, including eight years in China, where she did voice acting work and guested on the radio show Eyes On Chengdu, a state-run English language broadcast, among other things. As a minority (in both the US & Asia) she loves discussing the intersection of gender, race and ability.

ABOUT

BACCE takes the So Soul San Francisco Black Arts Salon Series online with interviews and stories of Black artistry from around the globe. Each month the Salon Series will feature artists working outside of the United States, offering an exciting and unique look at what’s happening everywhere. We take the opportunity in this unprecedented moment to stay engaged with our audience and to make connections with artists working in other countries to discover new ways to practice and be Black artists.

This free, online event will be live on BACCE’s YouTube page. Make sure to subscribe to see the latest!
