On the Hill
Produced by Loco Bloco & Directed by Paul Flores
March 25 - 26, 7pm
On the Hill is a multi-disciplinary docu-theater piece that incorporates youth voice to portray the implications of Alex Nieto's death at the hands of SFPD, as well as their creative vision for healing and justice. This piece is produced to impact the road to justice for Alex Nieto, influence public opinion about police violence in San Francisco, and tell the stories of youth of color impacted by this violence. Loco Bloco uses theater, dance and music rooted in Afro-Latino Traditions as a tool to help youth overcome discrimination and bring about change in their communities.
