Join us on Thursday 2/29 for a screening of this award-winning film as we celebrate Black History Month and the legacy of Black surf culture.
The highly anticipated documentary delves into the 1,000-year-old tradition of Black surfing, seamlessly integrating historical accounts with modern-day testimonies. Director David Mesfin and the film’s cast piece together a power story–dismantling racial barriers within surf culture and inspiring the next generation of Black surfers.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion with Executive Producer Beyin Abraha, along with other cast & crew members.
