Experience the reimagined version of Youth Speaks’ annual Unified Festival, the Unified: Verses and Vibes Showcase!
This festival is all about allowing youth a space to showcase, perform, connect, and spit their truth in community with other youth artists throughout the Bay Area.
This iteration of Unified is an exciting opportunity for Bay Area youth teams to perform and showcase original work outside of a competitive space. Unified will also include Youth Speaks’ annual MC Olympics Competition.
MC Olympics is a tournament-style rap competition and hip-hop showcase where the Bay's dopest young emcees highlight their pen game, personality, and lyrical superpowers, while they network, cypher, and connect with other artists. ALL styles and skill levels are welcome. Youth must be 14-19 years of age and live in the Bay Area to participate.
VERSES & VIBES SHOWCASE
As part of the Verses & Vibe showcase, a select number of teams (up to 5) will represent schools and community sites from throughout San Francisco, Oakland, and the Greater Bay Area in this year’s Unified Showcase.
MC OLYMPICS
MC Olympics will include 3 rounds with individual prizes offered to each round’s winner:
Round 1: Beat Battle
Round 2: Cypher
Round 3: Song Showcase
