New Roots is a 4-day theatre festival that champions the development and staging of new works by Bay Area creatives and connects audiences with artists.
This year, SFBATCO is thrilled to bring a community of artists and arts organizations to the Brava Theater Center for 1 weekend of live theatre, staged readings, artist talkbacks, community engagement, mingling, parties, and more.

SFBATCO engages artists and audiences through live theatre productions, creative development, and community service initiatives that resonate with SF Bay Area perspectives. The organization provides a platform for People of the Global Majority, and inspires both new audiences and theatre innovators.
