Award Winning solo performer Marga Gomez will help you leave no laugh behind. This supportive four week class is ideal for participants in the beginning or middle stages of developing a piece who want to create, build and expand more comic moments. The classes will focus on content and performance techniques. Every week all participants can share excerpts of their work. Marga will offer them constructive feedback and suggest any performance adjustments needed. Observer space is also available for those with little experience but an interest in the process. This is not a stand-up comedy class. It's a class to develop comedy for theater and storytelling. Participants and observers will share the wonder of comedy and it's value in life's most difficult moments. Each class will end in a 10 minute question and answer session where participants and observers can ask Marga any advice from her 30 years in solo performance, stand up comedy, publicity and producing.
