An evening of poetry and music featuring  over 30 poets and musicians well known to the Bay Area who will gather to share their work in benefit for the children of this community, including Avotcja, Genny Lim, Lucha Corpi, Dr. Loco, Nina Serrano, Adrian Arias, Leticia Hernandez, Mamacoatl, Dr. Loco and many others, hosted by Francisco X. Alarcon y Jorge Argueta

Ben Bac Sierra will be organizing a lowrider cruise starting approx 3 p.m. they will have a cruise from Silver Avenue all the way down 24th street and beyond. Approximately thirty to fifty cars should participate. By 5 p.m. there will be approximately five cars in front of th Brava that will take poets on a complimentary cruise, including the two Poet Laureates, Juan Felipe Herrera and Alejandro Murguia.

The event is also a fundraising event for a Children's Poetry Festival in El Salvador that takes place in November 2012 and includes poetry readings and writing workshops to approximately 800 children from all corners of the country. SF Public Library Bookmobile will be parked outside with bilingual books for children. Four Salvadoran authors are included in the festival. It is a three day event held at the National Library in San Salvador.
