NOT IN OUR NAMES: DIA DE LOS MUERTOS CONCERT with JOHN SANTOS SEXTET

October 27, 2012
8pm

"The acknowledgement and honoring of the ancestors is fundamental in African, Indigenous and Asian cultures. Not in Our Name is a call to spiritual arms, as we ask for the blessings and assistance of our ancestors in defense of their beloved home, the planet Earth.  This concert is a direct response to the current rampant destruction of the environment in the name of capitalist progress."
