Three precocious Vietnamese American siblings—Lucy, Kevin, and Eric—are home alone again, ready to make the most of their unsupervised time. What starts as a simple mission to make dinner quickly spirals into a disaster in the kitchen and some questionable decisions.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Lucia Tran is a director and producer based in Los Angeles, where she runs Her Studio, a creative production company built on storytelling, compassion, and inclusivity. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Lucia grew up turning to stories as a form of escapism—worlds that gave her comfort, sparked her imagination, and taught her about things beyond her bubble. That early love of storytelling grew into a career that now spans more than a decade of producing films, campaigns, and editorial projects. Her work is often rooted in community, drawing on themes of love, humor, empathy, and resilience. Whether collaborating with brands or developing films, Lucia approaches every project with the same belief: that storytelling is one of the most powerful tools we have to unveil our shared humanity. Through Her Studio and her independent projects, she continues to create work that entertains (she loves cheeky humor!) while reflecting the compassion she hopes to see echoed back in the world.
What does the Bay Area mean to you as an artist?
“I found a love for film and literature while being raised in Sunnyvale. As a latchkey kid, we were forced to find ways to occupy ourselves, and thus, I turned to TV like so many children of the 90s.
I also had the freedom to also roam the city, finding comfort in downtown Sunnyvale, in friends in the neighborhood and beyond. While it felt like a quiet suburban city, in many ways, Sunnyvale wasn't. There was so much pain, joy, and life within each family–mine included.
The Bay Area helped instill grit in me.”

What does the Bay Area mean to you as an artist?
“I believe my entire cinematographic perspective was born from growing up in the Daly City fog and finding its deep haunting beauty...street lights glowing like dandelions in the night sky.”
