Teaching Artist: Sound Design

MAPA@Brava is seeking a Sound Design Teaching Artist to work with the San Francisco Running Crew during the 2019/20 school year. Potential Candidates must have the following qualifications:



  • Experience in teaching Sound Design and Sound Engineering to Middle and High School students

  • Must have QLab and Audio program software skills

  • Knowledge of audio equipment and safety protocols

  • Knowledge in Theater etiquette 

  • Experience in working and collaborating with an artistic team and students

  • Degree in Sound Design preferable

  • Updated artistic portfolio

  • Must pass a background check

  • Own vehicle highly preferred but not required. 

Hours of Employment

Availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 3pm-7pm; and some Saturdays, including spring performance tech week (3rd week of April 2020) 


The rate of pay is $27 per hour
